- Methodist Chapel built in the late 19th century. In the mid-20th century the building was used as the local fire station until 1972 [so 1967 date may be incorrect] when it was used as a meeting venue for local youth groups. In 2011 a proposal was submitted to convert the hall into a residential dwelling

UK Fire Brigade History FB group, Alan Stockwell
- was built 1842 and was the methodist chapel, the fire station from 1937-1967, then a youth hall, now approved to be a house and restore the front to its original
